Texacid ECO is an environmentally responsible alternative to traditional acetic acid, formulated to create the perfect pH for acid dyeing on protein fibres such as wool, silk, and nylon. It provides the same dye activation performance as 30% acetic acid but with a safer, non-corrosive composition — ideal for use in home studios, classrooms, and professional dye facilities.

When added to the dyebath, Texacid ECO lowers pH to the optimal range (pH 4.5–5.0), ensuring strong, even dye fixation and brilliant colour yield. It offers the convenience of a stable, low-odour liquid that’s safer to handle and ship than concentrated acids.

Check pH with indicator paper for precision. Mix evenly into dyebath before adding dyes. Store tightly sealed and avoid mixing with alkaline materials.

Online orders are sent using Australia Post during business hours Monday to Friday. Orders are usually sent 1-2 days after your order is placed or when a pre-ordered item arrives. We email shipping confirmation with tracking information when your order is dispatched.

We currently ship outside Australia to many countries using Australia Post’s International Express service. Rates will be automatically calculated at checkout.

Click & Collect : Thomastown

When ordering online you can choose 'Click & Collect' for order collection at our premises at 2/99 Heyington Ave, Thomastown, Victoria. We will email you confirming when your order is ready to collect.

Orders can be collected 10am 4pm Monday to Friday and we would appreciate it if you could collect your order within a week.
