Texacid Eco is a safe, stable alternative to Acetic Acid 30%, developed as a substitute for use in any acid dyeing where Acetic Acid can no longer be shipped. It plays the same vital role in the dyeing process—lowering the pH of the dyebath to create the mildly acidic environment needed for acid dyes to bond effectively to fibres. For a pH of 4.5 - 5.0. 

Acid dyes are commonly used on protein fibres such as wool, silk, and alpaca, as well as synthetic fibres like nylon. Without an acidic pH, the dye can’t properly fix to the fibre. Texacid Eco helps to ensure that the colours remain vibrant and washfast, resisting fading over time.

This product can be used in both dye baths and print pastes, and is easily removed by washing during the rinse phase.

We currently ship outside Australia to many countries using Australia Post’s International Express service. Rates will be automatically calculated at checkout.

Click & Collect : Thomastown

When ordering online you can choose 'Click & Collect' for order collection at our premises at 2/99 Heyington Ave, Thomastown, Victoria. We will email you confirming when your order is ready to collect.

Orders can be collected 10am 4pm Monday to Friday and we would appreciate it if you could collect your order within a week.
