About Us

What We Do

At Kraftkolour we do three core things:

Our Warehouse & Operations

Behind the scenes, our warehouse is where the real work happens. Located in Thomastown, Victoria, it’s here that we receive, store and dispatch thousands of products each year — from dyes and fabric paints to fibres, tools and equipment.

We work hard to maintain stock levels of both everyday essentials and hard-to-find supplies. Orders placed online or by phone are picked, packed and shipped with care, whether they’re heading to a local art studio or across Australia. And if you’re nearby, you can also choose click & collect from our premises — a favourite option for many of our regular customers.

Our warehouse isn’t a silent, anonymous storage space — it’s active, organised and shaped around quality control. That means we check stock carefully, make sure products are stored safely, and ensure everything is ready when you place your order.

Our Team

Kraftkolour is driven by people who live and breathe craft and textiles. Our team is made up of:

Seasoned textile practitioners

the people who make sure your order arrives on time and in excellent condition.

We work collaboratively, learn from our customers, and stay curious about new products and techniques. Our goal is to be accessible, helpful, and real — not salesy — even when you’re dealing with technical things like dye chemistry or fabric compatibility.

Who We Serve

Our community is incredibly diverse — from beginners just discovering dyeing and weaving, to professional textile artists and educators. Some of the people who choose Kraftkolour include:

  • Art and textile teachers looking for reliable supplies for classrooms
  • Studio practitioners focussed on printing, painting or dyeing fibres
  • Spinners and weavers building their own yarns and textile pieces
  • Boutique designers and makers selling handmade garments or artworks
  • Schools, Craft Associations and Indigenous Groups who actively create
  • DIY enthusiasts exploring new creative avenues

No matter your experience level, we treat every customer as part of the Kraftkolour family — with respect, patience and attention to detail.
