Six pre-measured 20 g sachets of Kraftkolour MX Procion dyes (selectable colours). The default set includes: Halloween (yellows/oranges), Watermelon (pinks/reds), Periwinkle (purples), Hawaiian Blue (blues), Green MXG (greens) and Yellow Ochre (neutrals). Customers may request their own choice of six colours via order notes.

  • 250 g of soda ash fixative included for proper fibre bonding of the dye.
  • A pair of protective gloves and full instructions to guide you through the ice dye process.

Important note: Some homogeneous dye colours will not “split” or separate in patterning — for example Yellow MX8G, Yellow MX4G, Gold Yellow MXRA, Orange MX2R, Pink MXB, Cherry Pink MX, Red MX5B, Red MX8B, Violet MXRA, Deep Blue MX2R, Blue MXR, Blue MX2GA, Turquoise MXG, Blue MX4GD, Navy MX3R and Deep Black RGB. Deep Black RGB also requires heat and will not work effectively in ice dyeing

  1. Ensure your fabric is predominantly cellulose (cotton, linen, rayon etc). Synthetic blends may not take the dye evenly.

  2. If you want to customise your colour palette, leave a note in the order requesting your six preferred colours.

  3. Follow the instruction sheet carefully: prepare the fabric (pre-wash if necessary), set up the dye bath or ice-laying surface, apply the soda ash fixative as recommended, evenly distribute ice & dye powder, allow melt and fusion of colours.

  4. Use protective gloves and work in a well-ventilated space when handling dyes and fixatives.

  5. After dyeing, rinse and wash according to instructions to maximise colour retention and durability.

Online orders are sent using Australia Post during business hours Monday to Friday. Orders are usually sent 1-2 days after your order is placed or when a pre-ordered item arrives. We email shipping confirmation with tracking information when your order is dispatched.

Shipping is calculated at checkout according to the weight of the order, and your address location.

Most orders will have the option of:

  • Australia Post Standard Shipping (estimated delivery in 3-5 days)
  • Australia Post Express Shipping (estimated delivery in 2-3 days)

Kraftkolour cannot guarantee expected delivery times.

Kraftkolour may use other carriers from time to time for bulky or heavy shipments.

Shipping : International

We currently ship outside Australia to many countries using Australia Post’s International Express service. Rates will be automatically calculated at checkout.

Click & Collect : Thomastown

When ordering online you can choose 'Click & Collect' for order collection at our premises at 2/99 Heyington Ave, Thomastown, Victoria. We will email you confirming when your order is ready to collect.

Orders can be collected 10am 4pm Monday to Friday and we would appreciate it if you could collect your order within a week.
