Beautiful quality pure Pongee silk fabric in classic black, lightweight at 5mm and 114cm wide. This elegant, smooth silk is ideal for nuno felting, silk painting, dyeing, clothing, lining and fine textile work, and is a staple base fabric in many studio and classroom setups.

This Pongee silk has a soft handle with a fine, even weave, giving a gentle drape that works beautifully for scarves, wraps, linings, garments and surface design techniques. Care Instructions

To help prolong the life of your silk:

• Gently hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent

• Do not wring or twist – gently squeeze out excess water

• Roll in a towel to remove moisture, then dry flat or hang out of direct sunlight

• Use a low to medium iron on the silk setting while slightly damp, if required
