Natural Indigo Dye Kit

Natural Indigo Dye Kit

Kraftkolour’s Natural Indigo Dye Kit offers a complete, beginner-friendly introduction to the ancient art of indigo dyeing. It includes everything needed to prepare and maintain a traditional natural indigo vat, making it ideal for workshops, hobbyists, and textile artists exploring natural dye chemistry.

Each kit contains natural bio-indigo powder, Hydros ST reducing agent, and lime — pre-measured to create a balanced vat for repeatable results. The components work synergistically: lime provides alkalinity, Hydros removes oxygen, and indigo delivers the iconic, rich blue colour that deepens with every dip.

This kit simplifies a centuries-old process into an accessible, environmentally conscious experience. Whether you’re dyeing cotton, linen, or silk, the results are stunning — luminous blues with character and depth, produced through a method that connects chemistry, craft, and history.
