The MiScreen Design Frame (No Tape) is a reusable plastic frame compatible with the RISO MiScreen digital screen-making system. 

Low cost, re-usable frame for RISO MiScreen DSM - with required registration/ cut off holes for usage. Full A5 designs onto ID: 210x250mm mesh. Flat compact storage, durable and flexible for years of use. Use with MiScreen Digital Mesh.

This option is ideal for studios already equipped with mounting tape or those who wish to use specialty adhesive systems. It keeps costs down by omitting tape while delivering the same frame functionality for digital screen preparation.

For the cardboard set:

A set of 5 pieces, provides 10 frames:
- 5 x Large A4 Design Frame ID: 250x370mm
- 5 x Small A5 Design Frame :ID: 250x210mm

Supplied plain with no tape for lower cost, simply apply Red MaxiBond Tape (or 18mm double sided tape) and mount.

Not recommended for off contact printing directly as the frame will flex.

  • Supplied without mounting tape, allowing user choice of adhesive or re-use of existing tape.
  • Supports mesh mounting, exposure and printing workflows with MiScreen mesh types.
  • Before use, clean frame edges, apply tape or adhesive, mount mesh, and tension according to system guidance.
  • After printing, clean and reuse frame for multiple mesh jobs to reduce cost and waste.
  • Store frames flat to avoid warping and maintain registration accuracy.

  • Confirm frame size (A4, A5 etc) matches your MiScreen system.
  • Choose appropriate adhesive tape if not using pre-taped version—clean frame edges first.
  • Ensure mesh is mounted with correct tension and checked before exposure to avoid mis-registration.
  • Clean frame after each job and avoid residual adhesive build-up that may affect next mounting.
  • Store frames stacked flat in protective sleeve to maintain edge integrity.
  • Keep spare frames on hand to support multiple concurrent mesh jobs or teaching stations.

Online orders are sent using Australia Post during business hours Monday to Friday. Orders are usually sent 1-2 days after your order is placed or when a pre-ordered item arrives. We email shipping confirmation with tracking information when your order is dispatched.

Shipping is calculated at checkout according to the weight of the order, and your address location.

Most orders will have the option of:

  • Australia Post Standard Shipping (estimated delivery in 3-5 days)

Shipping : International

We currently ship outside Australia to many countries using Australia Post’s International Express service. Rates will be automatically calculated at checkout.

Click & Collect : Thomastown

When ordering online you can choose 'Click & Collect' for order collection at our premises at 2/99 Heyington Ave, Thomastown, Victoria. We will email you confirming when your order is ready to collect.

Orders can be collected 10am 4pm Monday to Friday and we would appreciate it if you could collect your order within a week.
