The Harp Forte is a loom beautiful in both its aesthetics and function. Made in Poland from sustainably-sourced solid alder wood with premium metal parts for strength and precision, the Harp Forte is a delight to weave on. It folds for transport with or without a project in progress, making travel and storage easy. Built-in warping board functionality reduces the need for extra equipment. The size range includes one of the slimmest (8"/20cm) and widest (32"/80cm) options on the market, great for bandweavers and blanket weavers alike.

Available in either clear finish or walnut stain, one of the more prominent features of the Harp Forte over the old Harp is the improved, innovative metal ratchet and pawl mechanisms, using rare earth magnets for durable project tensioning yet easy adjustment. No more struggling with stiff ratchets! The tension/warp knobs are also well designed for easy gripping, making the Harp Forte perfect for weavers with reduced wrist strength or those who struggle with the flatter knobs on Ashford looms.

All Harp accessories and parts will still fit on the Harp Forte. If you have an older-model Harp and are looking to upgrade, there is no need to buy a new loom! With a screwdriver and the Harp Upgrade Kit, you can convert your loom to a Forte model.

To minimise their carbon footprint and support the local community, the Kromski family sources its wood from local farms (up to 50km from the workshop). Clear finished items may show some variation which is embraced as part of the natural beauty of wood.
