Fructose Indigo Dye Kit

Kraftkolour’s Fructose Indigo Dye Kit simplifies the traditional natural dyeing process by combining the sustainability of a fructose-based reduction vat with the richness of genuine indigo pigment. This eco-friendly kit contains everything needed to build a living indigo vat using only safe, natural ingredients — perfect for artisans, teachers, and home dyers looking to experience indigo’s timeless magic without chemical reducers.

Each kit includes natural indigo powder, lime (for alkalinity), and crystalline fructose (for reduction). Together, these elements create the famous 1-2-3 indigo vat, known for its stability, minimal odour, and environmental safety. The process produces the same range of deep, washfast blues found in traditional fermentation vats, but with easier preparation and maintenance.

The kit is suitable for cotton, linen, silk, and wool, providing reliable, repeatable results for both small projects and educational use. It’s the perfect choice for anyone seeking to explore the ancient art of indigo dyeing in a modern, sustainable format.
