Don’t send your old fashion pieces to landfill — renew them with intense black tone.

Works on:

100 % cotton, linen, Tencel, rayon, silk and most cotton-blend fabrics.

Not suitable for:

Polyester, nylon, acrylic or fabrics with polyester threads in the weave (including in garment construction). The kit won’t work effectively on those.

  • If your garment has a print already, you may still see faint trace of the print depending on its colour and intensity.
  • The amount of dye required depends on the colour and weight of the garment — full instructions and a guide are included in the kit.

Kit contents:

  • 100 g black dye (sufficient to dye 1 kg or more of fabric to black).
  • 500 g soda ash (fixative)
  • 250 g Glauber salt (auxiliary)

  1. Check the garment label to confirm fibre composition — ensure it’s mainly cellulose (cotton, linen, rayon, etc.).
  2. Avoid fabrics with a high polyester/nylon content, as the kit won’t deliver effective results.
  3. Consider the current colour of the wear item — darker base colours will require less dyeing effort; very light/faded items may need extra care.

Follow the enclosed instructions carefully for best results: correct proportions, hot tap water, agitation, rinse protocols.

Online orders are sent using Australia Post during business hours Monday to Friday. Orders are usually sent 1-2 days after your order is placed or when a pre-ordered item arrives. We email shipping confirmation with tracking information when your order is dispatched.

Shipping : Australia

Shipping is calculated at checkout according to the weight of the order, and your address location.

Most orders will have the option of:

  • Australia Post Standard Shipping (estimated delivery in 3-5 days)
  • Australia Post Express Shipping (estimated delivery in 2-3 days)

Kraftkolour cannot guarantee expected delivery times.

Kraftkolour may use other carriers from time to time for bulky or heavy shipments.

Shipping : International

We currently ship outside Australia to many countries using Australia Post’s International Express service. Rates will be automatically calculated at checkout.

Click & Collect : Thomastown

When ordering online you can choose 'Click & Collect' for order collection at our premises at 2/99 Heyington Ave, Thomastown, Victoria. We will email you confirming when your order is ready to collect.

Orders can be collected 10am 4pm Monday to Friday and we would appreciate it if you could collect your order within a week.
