Cotton Muslin - Light weight 90cm (Gauze) fabric

This light-weight cotton muslin gauze (width 90 cm, weight ~51gsm) is a soft, airy fabric ideal for layering, textile surface design, nuno-felting or projects where a delicate, translucent base is required.

The open weave and light build make it excellent for shibori, layering over other fabrics, quilt backing, or even garment inserts where breathability and softness are required. Its neutral finish makes it suitable for dyeing, painting or being used as a base in mixed-media textile art.

100% cotton gauze muslin • width 90 cm • approx 51gsm.
Open, fine weave with soft hand and good drape.
Ideal for layering, surface effects, felting, dyeing, painting.
Pre-wash gently before use; handle with care to prevent distortion.

Use fine needles/sewing tools to minimise skip in stitching. For dyeing or painting, support the fabric on a stable surface to avoid puckering. Handle gently to preserve openness of weave.

Online orders are sent using Australia Post during business hours Monday to Friday. Orders are usually sent 1-2 days after your order is placed or when a pre-ordered item arrives. We email shipping confirmation with tracking information when your order is dispatched.

When ordering online you can choose 'Click & Collect' for order collection at our premises at 2/99 Heyington Ave, Thomastown, Victoria. We will email you confirming when your order is ready to collect.

Orders can be collected 10am 4pm Monday to Friday and we would appreciate it if you could collect your order within a week.
