This unbleached calico fabric from the brand offers a natural cotton base with a width of 120 cm and a medium weight (~135gsm) — ideal for dyeing, printing, sewing and craft projects. 

Because it’s unbleached and largely untreated, this calico fabric allows dyes and prints to show clearly and consistently. It’s also a cost-effective and flexible substrate for experimentation, from fabric sampling and textile art to garments and home décor.

  • Smooth finish via calendaring for good hand-feel and print/dye performance.
  • Expect slight shrinkage (~8% both width and length) after first wash — pre-wash recommended.
  • Ideal for natural dyeing, block printing, sampling, textile art.

Pre-wash (cold or warm) and let fabric fully dry before cutting/dyeing. Plan for potential shrinkage and adjust pattern sizes accordingly. For printing/dyeing, ensure fabric is flat and taut to avoid distortion.

Online orders are sent using Australia Post during business hours Monday to Friday. Orders are usually sent 1-2 days after your order is placed or when a pre-ordered item arrives. We email shipping confirmation with tracking information when your order is dispatched.

When ordering online you can choose 'Click & Collect' for order collection at our premises at 2/99 Heyington Ave, Thomastown, Victoria. We will email you confirming when your order is ready to collect.

Orders can be collected 10am 4pm Monday to Friday and we would appreciate it if you could collect your order within a week.
