Our Basket Weave Wool Fabric 225gsm 140cm wide – Natural White is a 100% pure, unbleached wool textile, also known as Box Weave. At 225gsm, this is a medium-weight fabric with a beautifully relaxed weave that offers a gentle drape, making it ideal for a range of creative and practical projects.

This versatile wool fabric is perfect for creating baby wraps, travel rugs, and throws, and is highly sought-after for eco dyeing and printing due to its excellent absorbency and texture. Its open weave structure compacts slightly during dyeing, giving your finished pieces a natural character and unique hand-crafted quality.

Dyeing Qualities

• Dyes beautifully with acid dyes, natural dyes, and particularly eco-printing methods.

• Takes colour evenly while enhancing depth and texture.

• Recommended gentle hand wash prior to dyeing to remove natural lanolin and achieve consistent results.

We currently ship outside Australia to many countries using Australia Post’s International Express service. Rates will be automatically calculated at checkout.

Click & Collect : Thomastown

When ordering online you can choose 'Click & Collect' for order collection at our premises at 2/99 Heyington Ave, Thomastown, Victoria. We will email you confirming when your order is ready to collect.

Orders can be collected 10am 4pm Monday to Friday and we would appreciate it if you could collect your order within a week.
