The Ashford SampleIt Loom is a compact weaving loom with a width of 25 cm (10″), designed for sampling yarns, structure tests, design trials and small projects. It provides an economical, low-space tool for exploring weave structure, yarn behaviour or building proficiency before scaling to larger looms. With its simple, compact frame, makers can experiment with different warp/weft combinations, colourways and finished texture.

Although small in scale, the SampleIt Loom supports the same technical principles as larger floor looms—leno, twill, plain weave, double cloth and more—making it a valuable tool for design development and studio testing. Ideal for studios, classrooms or hobbyists where space is at a premium. The portability also means you can move the loom between workspaces or storage easily.

Online orders are sent using Australia Post during business hours Monday to Friday. Orders are usually sent 1-2 days after your order is placed or when a pre-ordered item arrives. We email shipping confirmation with tracking information when your order is dispatched.

We currently ship outside Australia to many countries using Australia Post’s International Express service. Rates will be automatically calculated at checkout.

Click & Collect : Thomastown

When ordering online you can choose 'Click & Collect' for order collection at our premises at 2/99 Heyington Ave, Thomastown, Victoria. We will email you confirming when your order is ready to collect.

Orders can be collected 10am 4pm Monday to Friday and we would appreciate it if you could collect your order within a week.
