This handloomed fabric combines the natural texture of noil silk with the warmth and softness of merino wool. Woven in a balanced 50% silk and 50% wool blend, it has a calm, tactile surface and a comfortable handle that feels gentle and reassuring to work with.

The silk noil brings subtle slubs and a matte, organic look, while the merino wool adds softness and warmth without heaviness. The result is a fabric that feels natural and well-balanced, suitable for projects where comfort and texture are just as important as appearance.

About the yarn (1500 sana)
Sana is a traditional silk yarn count that describes the fineness of the silk fibre rather than the finished fabric weight. A 1500 sana yarn sits in the finer range, giving the fabric a refined feel while still retaining body and structure. In everyday terms, this contributes to a fabric that is comfortable to handle, with a light to medium presence rather than a heavy or bulky feel.

Click & Collect : Thomastown

When ordering online you can choose 'Click & Collect' for order collection at our premises at 2/99 Heyington Ave, Thomastown, Victoria. We will email you confirming when your order is ready to collect.

Orders can be collected 10am 4pm Monday to Friday and we would appreciate it if you could collect your order within a week.
