Handloomed extra fine fringed Eri Silk scarf/wrap 70 x 200cm. Exquisite fine lustrous scarves which will  dye with Indigo, Procions or Landscapes.(Acid Dyes)  Eri Silk is also known as Peace Silk or Ahimsa because the silk worms are allowed to complete their life cycle and leave their cocoons as a moth. This silk is preferred by Buddhists and Vegans. Unlike Mulberry and Tussah silk  where the silk worm spins a continuos filament  the Eri cocoons are made up of short filaments which are cut and spun like cotton, however this delicate scarf is woven from silk yarn handspun straight from the cocoon by specialised weavers from the village of Maniabandha in Odisha.

We currently ship outside Australia to many countries using Australia Post’s International Express service. Rates will be automatically calculated at checkout.

Click & Collect : Thomastown

When ordering online you can choose 'Click & Collect' for order collection at our premises at 2/99 Heyington Ave, Thomastown, Victoria. We will call you confirming when your order is ready to collect.

Orders can be collected 10am 4pm Monday to Friday and we would appreciate it if you could collect your order within a week.
